although this has opened up access to a minority of bikers in is a small thriumph of which the big bike community now enjoys. to go as far as having the judge issue an order to force it's implementation and case-to case monitoring of violators is in itself an applaudable move. The MDMC did what they thought was right, i can't fault them for that.but the fact that they took action, went to court, funded their case and won is quite a remarkable feat n itself. nothing will come out of this issue if we constantly complain about our rights and do nothing about it. To fight the system, you have to play by their rules and get organized. I'd say, give the partial ban a bit more time to get settled in willya and those who vehemently bicker, complain and argue the issue of sub-400cc access, why don't you start a drive (legally would be a practical approach) to start gathering facts, volume support, legal advice.etc So asan ang mga libelous statement sa mga previous post ko?įor the meantime, we're (the big bike groups) thankfull for what we have. Suwerte lang ang mga 400cc up dahil nakakapasok na rin sila. So ngayon, dapat ba silang pasalamatan? Sarili lang nila ang iniintindi nila. Dun pumapasok yung attitude nilang "I'm in, so screw you!" Ok, so hindi ko naman nilalahat yung MDMC pero still, they really don't care kasi wala naman silang ginawa dun sa actions nung ilang members nila. They are posted in the freeway battles section of the MCP site. Yung mga hindi nakakaalam, please read the old articles. Libelous? So what if I call them backstabbers? They supported the fight vs AO1 (yes, they did) but suddenly went their own ways after the victory and that, ladies and gentlemen, led to the infamous DO(23 ba yun?) or the 400cc ban. (However napawalang-bisa ito dahil wala namang authority ang DPWH to enact such Department Orders or DO but took several years kasi alam niyo naman ang legal proceedings dito, plus daming delaying tactics). the AO1, some members of the said MDMC (headed by Atty Raterta) suddenly created a petition (along with Atty Sison who was the head of the PNCC then) that only 600cc bikes and above be allowed (which was argued down to 400cc) and they were able to do so courtesy of their connections with the DPWH. After they won and were able to obtain a writ of preliminary injunction vs. It was the freedom riders MC club who fought for our rights back then and they were pushing for ALL MC's as long as they are within the minimum and maximum speed limits (the original petitioners were James Mirasol and Richard Santiago of FRMC).
